about the Parkway West high Longhorn Lacrosse club

The Parkway West Longhorn Boy's Lacrosse Club has been in existence since the mid 1990s and plays in the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association. This association includes teams from the St. Louis area as well as teams from Columbia, Springfield and the Kansas City metro area.

lacrosse playerThe Parkway West Longhorn Lacrosse program draws players from St. Louis County's Parkway West School District. Boys in grades 8-12 will play a very competitive schedule against other top Missouri teams. Our roster typically includes 60 - 80 players on Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. Practice begins at the end of February, with league play beginning in March and continuing until early May. Home games are typically held at Parkway West Middle School on Baxter Road.

Parkway West High Longhorn Lacrosse is a club sport. This means that we get no financial support from Parkway West High School or the Parkway School District.  Each player pays a yearly fee for dues and supplies their own equipment. The club is always looking for sponsors or businesses that would provide their support to the program to defray the cost of operating the program. Please contact us if you have an interest in supporting Parkway West Longhorn Lacrosse.

Parent involvement is important for the operation of the club and is essential for the future growth of the program.  The club Board of Directors is made up of player parents and helps oversee the direction of the program, overall operation, finances and supports the coaches.  Current Board Members include:

President Kathy Roper 636-256-8088
